Watch the 2009 ATP Masters 1000 Finals in China with Wendy Wu Tours

Our ‘China & ATP Masters’ tour gives the avid tennis fan a chance to see one of the biggest events on the ATP calendar live in Shanghai. This much anticipated event will produce some top class tennis and with big names in attendance will surely prove to be a great spectacle. This tour will also take you to see the historic Terracotta Army in Xian and give you the chance to walk along the awe inspiring Great Wall and explore the Forbidden City in Beijing.

Days 1-2: UK - Shanghai

Fly overnight to Shanghai where our welcome dinner will be of traditional Shanghai cuisine.

Days 3-5: Tournament

Enjoy 3 days of world class tennis watching the finals of the Shanghai ATP Masters 1000.

Alternative Itinerary

An alternative itinerary can be arranged for days 3-5 for partners/friends travelling with Tennis fans that would prefer to see more of Shanghai

Day 6: Wuzhen Day Tour

Take an enjoyable excursion to Wuzhen, home to an intricate system of canals and

ancient architecture. Return to Shanghai.

Day 7: Shanghai

In the morning we will visit the beautiful Yu Gardens and the Old Town. After lunch

it’s off to the Shanghai Museum and the famous Bund. A look at the restored Xintiandi area of the city is next, before enjoying some shopping along renowned Nanjing Road. End the day with a stunning evening cruise on the Huangpu River.

Days 8-9: Xian

Fly to the former imperial capital of Xian and experience traditional Shui Jiao cuisine. The following morning we visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors, followed by the ancient City Wall. A Tang Dynasty dancing performance will conclude the evening.

Day 10: Xian - Beijing

Visit the Little Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shaanxi Museum. Stroll through the city’s lively Muslim Quarter to visit the Great Mosque before flying to Beijing. Here, visit the unique Temple of Heaven and enjoy the local delicacy, Peking Duck.

Days 11-12: Beijing

Sightseeing today includes a visit to the Forbidden City. Stroll through Tiananmen Square, the world’s largest public square and enjoy a Chinese Acrobatic Show in the evening. The next day, walk the Great Wall and visit the exquisite Summer Palace.

Days 13: Beijing - UK

Fly back to the UK, arriving home later the same day filled with many happy memories.
