Watch the 2009 HSBC World Golf Championship Finale in China with Wendy Wu Tours

Our ‘China & WGC Finale’ tour gives you the opportunity to attend the final event on the World Golf Championship calendar for 2009, the HSBC Champions tournament, which takes place at the Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club. You will also walk on the Great Wall of China, discover the Forbidden City in Beijing and stand face-to-face with the Terracotta Army in Xian. Tee off in style and join us on a journey through China’s most fascinating sights.

Days 1-2: UK - Beijing

Fly overnight to Beijing and transfer to our hotel.

Days 3-4: Beijing

Stroll through Tiananmen Square past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum and explore the Forbidden City. Also visit the unique Temple of Heaven and enjoy a Chinese Acrobatic Show. The next day, walk the Great Wall and visit the Summer Palace.

Day 5: Beijing - Xian

Fly to Xian and visit the ancient City Wall. Watch a Tang Dynasty dancing performance in the evening.

Day 6: Xian - Shanghai

Visit the world famous Terracotta Warriors. Fly to Shanghai later the same day and enjoy a dinner of traditional Shanghai cuisine.

Day 7: Shanghai

Explore the Yu Gardens and the Old Town. After lunch, visit the Shanghai Museum and the famous Bund. End the day with a stunning evening cruise on the Huangpu River.

Days 8-9: WGC Finale

Spend the next two days at the Shanghai Sheshan International Golf Club viewing the 3rd and 4th days of the HSBC Champions tournament.

Alternative Itinerary

An alternative itinerary for days 8-9 is available on request for partners/friends travelling with Golf fans but prefer to see more of Shanghai

Day 10: Shanghai - UK

Fly back to the UK, arriving home later the same day filled with many happy memories.
